It's more enjoyable to pick with others! Spread the word by sharing your picking plans on social media. Reach out to local environmental groups to invite them to participate with you.

Spent an hour in the early afternoon to clean up an area where we bike often. We had seen some trash in the area and felt it needed some cleaning. Little did we know how much junk was there. Between two of us we filled two oversized black garbage bags. It looks much nicer now, but suspect we will need to do it again in the near future.
